Serge Vangheluwe was born in 1975 in Izegem. Ever since he was a child, he was fascinated by drawing. So it was no wonder that this self-educated man started his search for perfection in form and colour in the nineties. 

At the ned of the nineties the realism faded away from his work, and his quest in the world of abstract painting began. His expositions reflect the sefl-willed vision that characterise him, but he still maintains his passion and control.
